General group description
The Rochester Tabletop Robotics League is for non-combat robotics competition. The main goal of this group is to be open to hobbyist of all levels. Since direct combat is not a concern, beginning robots can be built out of whatever is on hand from toy cars to Legos.
Another reason for non-combat is the cost of both the robots and the arena to fight in. If there is enough interest and financial backing we may expand into combat robotics some time in the future.

 Well after 12 years decided to start up another tabletop robotics league. I first did this back in college and was a blast so going to try and get a group going in Rochester.
